Care and maintenance
Silver
Silver is a natural element that develops a patina over time and will often react by being mate in use or oxidizing.
You can clean your silver jewelry yourself by using a mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush. Rinse the jewelry afterward and dry it thoroughly! This way, you can regularly restore shine to your silver pieces and remove the worst oxidation or dirt.
Gold plated
This jewelry is made of sterling silver, plated with 22 carat gold.
Gold plated jewelry is delicate and susceptible to wear. Therefore, avoid wearing the jewelry in water, contact with chemical products, or any kind of friction against hard surfaces. This can cause the gold plating to fade. Gold plated jewelry requires care over time, and your gold-plated piece can always be re-plated for a fee.
Amber
Amber is an organic material made from resin that has fossilized over many, many years in the sea. It is therefore important to take good care of your amber jewelry. Amber does not tolerate direct, intense heat, so avoid leaving your jewelry in the sun for extended periods. Please also avoid contact to chemical products and wearing the jewelry in the shower.
